Last Day Reflections

What did you learn about photography that you did not know before?

  • Photography can be difficult at times, you can struggle with coming up with ideas of what to take pictures of something I learned was how to put the film pictures into a bigger picture, it was very captivating, and interesting. I learned that you have to be very careful with the film, and that it takes time/patient to not ruin the film.

What did you learn about yourself this semester?

  • That I can be creative and have the patients to accomplish something really great.

What do you wish we had done that we did not?

  • I wish we would have taken more/spend more time with macro pictures.

What was your struggle?

  • I struggled on actually finishing the assignments/ taking pictures, it was hard for me to think of things i could take pictures of, I wanted to take more creative pictures and
  • (i did not know what to take pictures of, wasn't really that creative, and did not try hard enough to finish the assignments)

What did you conquer?

  • Something I conquered was taking my time on "things", I didn't really have patients and i got frustrated easily. I was easily distracted and didn't finish "things".  But know i can take my time and make an effort to finish was i started and actually make "it" look interesting.

Web Assignment #5

Beauty

A photo graph can be beautiful, in many ways the colors, the "texture", and/or the point of view. Beauty can be found in many photographs, especially in those who capture the smallest detail, a unique color or texture. For me, bugs, insects.... ect. aren't that pleasing to see, but once you capture that small detail, it will make the picture a whole lot better/beautiful.

Some Examples:

Photographs have many ways to show/capture the beauty of subjects...

Anne-Marie Atkinson
Anjali M. Pinto i liked the pictures because on the lighting, the full body spectrum, and the fact that the pictures are beautiful because of the colors.

Beto Ruiz Alonso i liked that she didn't have to look at the camera and the prop she was holding, it expresses who she is.

Liz Devine  I like those pictures because of the background, and that the people didn't have to look at the camera.
